What does 2Prod do?
2Prod is an engineering partner for federal programs. We design and build AI and workflow automation, cloud platforms, DevSecOps pipelines, and the applications and integrations that connect business systems. We are strongest on defined workstreams that need both architecture and hands-on implementation.
Who is 2Prod, and how do we contract with you?
2Prod Technologies Corp. is a small business founded in 2024 in Aldie, Virginia, led by Nazir Shuqair, CEO and President. Today we work as a subcontractor, so engagements run through a teaming agreement or subcontract with the prime on your program.
Can you work within an existing prime team?
Yes. We can contribute senior technical leadership and hands-on engineering within an established delivery team. We agree on the scope, responsibilities, dependencies, and handoff with the prime and program stakeholders.
How do you handle security requirements?
We work to the federal frameworks your system is held to: the NIST Risk Management Framework (SP 800-37) and the NIST SP 800-53 controls in its baseline. We implement the controls our work touches and document them for your ISSO and assessors. Our software practices follow the NIST Secure Software Development Framework (SP 800-218), with DISA STIG hardening and FIPS 140-validated cryptography where required. We discuss clearance eligibility and security compliance directly with government customers and teaming partners.
Will our team be able to run what you build?
Yes. That is part of the work from the start: infrastructure as code, repeatable pipelines, and consistent environments instead of manual steps, with security findings resolved before anything is promoted. Our engineers work alongside your technical and program staff so they are ready to operate and extend the platform after launch.
How do you decide where to use AI?
We start with a task and the information it requires. We evaluate whether AI improves the work, how its output will be checked, and what permissions it needs. Some tasks are better served by conventional automation, and we make that call before adding complexity.
Will AI act without a person approving it?
Only within the limits you set. We define what an AI tool can read, which operations it may perform, and which changes need a person’s approval, and we record what it does so your team can review it.
Agencies now say “Super Intelligence” (SI). Is that the same as AI?
Yes. Executive Order 14434 (September 2026) tells federal agencies to use “Super Intelligence” and “SI” in place of “artificial intelligence” and “AI”, and for now both cover the same technology. The AI engineering on this site is what your agency may now call SI, and we use whichever term your program uses.
What is Almavar?
Almavar is 2Prod’s own enterprise AI product, separate from our engineering services: you can work with us without using it. It runs inside your environment, in your cloud account (including AWS GovCloud) or your data center, and connects AI agents to approved resources so they can carry out work under your identity, access, and approval controls. Building it keeps our engineers close to how governed AI works in practice.
How do we buy Almavar?
Almavar is in active development, so it is not yet sold as a standard product. Agencies usually buy software through an existing contract vehicle, often through a reseller or the prime contractor on the program, and we will work out that path with your contracting team when the time comes. Until then, we can walk your team through Almavar and discuss an evaluation in your environment.
